We had Mangesto under our radar for a while before getting in touch to ask him a remix. The Southampton based producer has been seen on labels like Tribe and his productions have a unique silky texture we fall in love with. His remix of “Woods & Luyo – In The Heat Of The Night” features a hot fusion sax solo with afro tinged percussive part and has been chosen as a Traxsource Soulful Essential.

Hungry For Love by Luyo original package was so strong we had to divide it in two. While the Original and Lenny Fontana Mix are still causing a stir, highly demanded Part. 2 gets finally unleashed. Portuguese duo Deep Djoe & Pedro Mazz Mix conquers at first listen with their funky rooted chords and organ riffs. Italian up-and-rising Vittorio Santorelli gets darker with a bumpy deeper version.

Born in the Township of Kwazulu Natal (Esikhawini), Sfiso Jobe (Fiso Da Costa) worked his way up to House music in 2005 when he heard the Album ‘Definition of House 2′ mixed Dj Fresh and decided to make his own beats. In October 2009 he decided to start his own record label “Sci-Fi Productions” and his debut release “Trip to my roots” got chosen as best of house for December 2009 in the global cd chosen by Cd Pool. Fiso continues to produce quality music to the whole world and represent the sounds from the South African soil.

Doc Link formed Liberate Recordings in 2006 with fellow DJ/producer EMan, Liberate has given Doc even more chances to excel with the freedom to release his music unhindered by another label’s restraints.

Still, it’s behind the decks where Doc Link shines the brightest. His DJ sets are energetic, raw, and completely from the soul. With a love and knowledge of music as deep as his, Doc Link’s sets act as intricate statements on the history of house as he’s experienced it and a reflection on where it’s all going.
